As we continue to partner with forward-thinking organisations, we have an exciting opportunity and are on the look-out for an exceptional Client Manager - Social Impact.
You will be at the heart of driving brands forwards and creating innovative learning solutions to match their needs and desired outcomes. As a client manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing client relationships to strengthen our existing partnerships and forge new ones. You will be at the forefront of pitching new ideas, reporting on the impact of the programmes your clients are running and driving brand loyalty and retention. You are a strategic decision-maker that has a passion for supporting brands and organisations to achieve excellence in their learning programmes. Working closely with our Client Service team and Learning Programme Managers, you will be responsible for increasing client lifetime value and ensuring that client needs are met at every step of the way.

What are some of the things I will be doing?

  • Build a true understanding of the client, brand and its motives to identify opportunities for growth and account elevation by implementing practices that optimise delivery and performance
  • Develop and execute strategic sales, marketing and brand plans to grow and scale the impact of your client portfolio
  • Development of strong DMU and organisational mapping to outline and identify areas of growth within your client network
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients/partners, helping them to scale within their organisations
  • Ensure that you are constantly looking for ways to innovate and provide solutions to clients by understanding the wider UpSkill offering and having regular meetings with programme and product teams
  • Increase client retention rate and ensure that your client portfolio is maintained through renewal strategies
  • Report and meet revenue targets by looking for opportunities to expand your client spend by cross-selling and upselling appropriately
  • Forecasting and financial reporting on a quarterly basis to senior stakeholders
  • Provide insights for future planning and growth based on data from key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of end-to-end program management from daily running, reporting and analysis and ensure that you are preparing client-facing reports from programme managers to aid in your renewal strategies
  • Deliver unparalleled exceptional service at all times, be the first to offer innovative solutions, strategic guidance and effective problem solving that achieve account objectives Report on client satisfaction metrics and develop strong customer loyalty through customer referrals
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with all of the clients in your portfolio
  • Responsible for managing multiple stakeholders and supporting different workstreams, successfully working cross-functionally across teams to manage shifting timelines and constantly supporting timely delivery with the support of learning programme managers
  • Ensure you are able to track, measure and report on impact for all clients in your portfolio and you are actively amplifying their brand as well as UpSkill’s through social media channels
  • Ensure that CRM is maintained and updated with all client progress on a regular basis, with a responsibility to ensure that clients are moving through the pipeline and projects are progressing
  • Upkeep and maintenance of renewal pipeline for your client portfolio, and liaise with the sales team to ensure you are continuously innovating for your clients
  • Ensuring you have the most relevant and up to date product knowledge so that you are able to upsell and grow your client and project revenue
