Mission and objectives

To provide leadership and encourage partnership in caring for the environment by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations.

Context

In collaboration with multiple partners, UNEP developed an environmental education guide. The guide consists of an introduction and 10 separate booklets. Each booklet touches upon a different topic. These topics are i.a. water, ecosystem restoration, climate change and sustainable consumption. The target audience of the guide are primary school teacher in Latin America and the Caribbean. The guide was developed in Spanish and needs to be translated to English. The final books will be designed and published in both languages. The task will be to translate the documents from Spanish to English. Task description

Translate an environmental education guide from Spanish to English. The guide is approximately 130 pages long and will be provided in an editable Microsoft Word document.
