Technical Focus

Carry out a study aiming to technically support the Department of Family Agriculture and Cooperatives (SAF) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA), on the production chains of family farming in its correlation with cooperativism, as an alternative for the structuring of its activities. But also with a view to strengthening family farming through actions that promote sustainable rural development, at the most different scales, from regional to territorial or local.


Tasks and Responsibilities

• Define, together with the project supervision, the states or territories to be analyzed in the Northeast and South regions, as well as parameters of consultancy's performance.
• Carry out survey and systematization of FF production chains in specified areas.
• Carry out survey and systematization of FF cooperatives in specified areas.
• Identify, based on the mapped cooperatives, successful cases in the interrelationship with family farmers.
• Conduct face-to-face or virtual meetings with project supervision whenever necessary.
• Map and establish a correlation between public policies available by SAF with productive chains and cooperativism.


CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING:

Minimum Requirements

• University Degree in Humanities or Agrarian Sciences.
• Brazilian Nationality or other legally authorized to work in Brazil
• Minimum experience of 8 (eight) years in public policies for family farming and rural, regional and territorial development OR Specialization and 06 years of experience OR Master's and 05 years of experience OR Doctorate and 03 years of experience
• Working knowledge (level C) of Portuguese
