Qualification Requirement
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in economics, energy engineering, public policy, environmental studies, development studies, or other relevant fields.
• Minimum two (2) – five (5) years of relevant work experiences in the energy sector. Experiences with an international financing institution would be a plus.
• The Consultant should demonstrate general knowledge of the international discourse on energy and climate change as well as major market trends in Asia.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to structure complex issues. The Consultant should be able to independently conduct research on energy topics relating to policies, technologies and different Asian markets.
• Ability to think independently while working under supervision, to collaborate with other team members and contribute productively to the team's work and output under time pressure.
• Excellent proficiency of professional writing and speaking of English. Should be comfortable to communicate and work in an international and culturally diverse environment.
• Demonstrate experience in using spreadsheets and in managing and interpreting data.
