ICRISAT is seeking a talented and motivated videographer with a passion for engaging visual storytelling to join our team to produce high-quality video content that showcases our work in improving livelihoods, enhancing food security, and reducing poverty in the semi-arid tropics.  The ideal candidate should be skilled in all aspects of video production, including pre-production, production, and post-production. The Incumbent will report to Head - Communications. The position is based in Patancheru, Hyderabad Telangana State.

Key Responsibilities:

·Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content that highlights the impact of ICRISAT's research and programs on local communities, farmers, and the environment

·Develop creative concepts and storyboards for video content to capture news from the Institute

·Plan and execute video shoots, both in-studio and in the field

·Collaborate with ICRISAT's Communications and Marketing team to ensure that video content aligns with the overall communications strategy

·Ensure that video content is properly formatted and optimized for various distribution channels, including social media and the ICRISAT website

·Work with ICRISAT staff and partners to identify opportunities for video storytelling and to develop creative and compelling scripts

·Capture and edit audio and video footage in a variety of settings, including field visits, interviews, and events

·Ensure that all video content is produced to a high standard and meets ICRISAT's quality and brand standards

·Collaborate with ICRISAT's communications and outreach team to ensure that video content is effectively disseminated through multiple channels, including social media, the ICRISAT website, and partner organizations

Requirements:

·Masters' degree in videography, film production, or a related field or equivalent experience with at least 7 years of related experience

·Proven experience as a videographer, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and techniques

·Strong technical skills in video production and post-production, including experience with cameras, lighting, sound recording, and editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro

·Excellent creative and storytelling skills, with the ability to bring complex research and development concepts to life through video

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary environment

·Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in video production and dissemination, including the use of social media

General:

This is a contractual position for a period of 24 months.
