We are looking for an engaged Key Account Coordinator who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.

 

The Scope

Key Account Management aims to build and maintain strong and productive relationships with leading companies and brands that are committed to FSC principles.

 

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identification of key accounts in Mexico, prioritized by value chain, using the appropriate methodologies for this purpose.
  • Develop action plans to generate new key accounts.
  • Provide training to key accounts and their suppliers on the FSC system.
  • Collaboration with key accounts to define strategies to generate awareness for FSC.
  • Implementation of the action plans defined with key accounts.
  • Address cases of brand misuse.
  • Manage the promotional license program for non-certified companies.
  • Development of communication tools and resources for the promotion and positioning of FSC in the country.
  • Provide support to key accounts in relation to brand use, implementation of communication tools and the use of the FSC marketing toolkit.
  • Deliver monthly reports on the progress achieved.
  • Support to Key Accounts for the achievement of FSC certified suppliers and for the development of their value chain.

 

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Education and Training:
    • University degree or equivalent training or experience in a relevant field, for example, business administration or international business.

 

  • Working Experience, Style and Skills:
    • At least 5 years of professional experience in sales.
    • Experience prospecting and in client management.
    • Experience working with FSC CoC Certification.
    • Administration skills.
    • Project management experience.
    • A strong sense for diligence and accuracy.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven ability to plan and organize work.

 

  • Languages:
    • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).

 

  • Computer Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:
    • Standard software packages (MS Office).

 

  • Communication Skills:
    • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills that contribute to cohesive team efforts and decision making.

 

  • Others:
    • Experience in working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team
    • Experience in working in / with an NGO or Non-Profit Organization.
    • Commitment to FSC’s mission and values.
    • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diversity of values, views and approaches to issues relevant to the FSC program by stakeholders around the world.
    • Good understanding of the scope of FSC’s programs and activities
    • Ability to represent FSC through his/her work with exemplary personal and professional authority and conduct.

 

Terms and Conditions

  • Location: Mexico City.
  • Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
  • Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
  • Starting Date: As soon as possible.
  • Travel: Sporadic travel is required.
