Support design of Eid Cards for UNIC Sana'a/RC Yemen

Mission and objectives

UNIC Sana'a is responsible for promoting greater public understanding of and support for the aims and activities of the United Nations by disseminating information on the work of the Organization to people everywhere, especially in developing countries. Support RCO in communications issues.

Context

We are looking for one Online Volunteer under the guidance of UNIC Sanaa, Public information Officer to support our office producing 1 cover photo (Facebook and Twitter with their different ratios) and 2 social media cards to be used as a regular post and tweet. The designs for Facebook should be within the Facebook ratio and same thing for Twitter following its ratio to fit the cover for both platforms. The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the UNIC Sana’a team at unct-unic-sanaa@un.org and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support [objective of this task].

Task description

The Online Volunteer is asked to: 1. Use the selected photos ( 1 of them ) for the cover Facebook/ Twitter, and the 2 other photos for the social media cards. • The cover to include the below hashtags in both languages Arabic and English: #StopRedSeaSpill #أوقفوا_التسرب_في_البحر_الأحمر • Also, to add any Eid signs (to be left to the designer creativity) and add the text: Eid Mubarak, and in Arabic عيد مبارك • For the cover, use the UN Arabic logo found in the link 2. For the social media cards, please make sure we receive 4 deliverables, each pic in Arabic and English. • The English text: The Joy of Eid complements by addressing the threat from the FSO Safer • The Arabic Text: فرحة العيد تكتمل بمواجهة تهديد الخزان العائم صافر • Also, add the English logo for English cards and the Arabic logo for Arabic cards with adding any Eid signs (to be left to the designer’s creativity) and add the text: Eid Mubarak, and in Arabic عيد مبارك The google drive link includes: the three suggested photos, UN logo in Arabic and English https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10rLXawn_uUf8M4ItSwX5IXymMQyWSoTE?usp=share_link
