The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank, whose mission is financing the Infrastructure for Tomorrow—infrastructure with sustainability at its core. The primary responsibilities of the Office of the President (PRE) are to assist the President in conducting the Bank’s day-to-day business and management of operations and activities, and coordinate across functions to ensure the optimization of decision-making and alignment with AIIB’s overall strategy, vision, and goals,
PRE is looking for a Senior Executive Officer or an Executive Officer whose primary responsibility is to support the communication and coordination functions of the Office of the President.
The position reports to the Chief Officer in the Office of the President.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Support the Office of the President’s role in cross-department communication and coordination, advise on operations and policies and the efficiency of internal processes, and monitor the implementation of Bank policies and strategies.
- Assist in the preparation or review of formal written materials of AIIB, including materials produced by the President’s Office and other departments.
- Assist in the coordination of AIIB Management meetings, including the preparation of agendas, note taking and preparation and circulation of minutes.
- Prepare briefing materials for the President and support the preparation of Presidential trips.
- Draft internal and external communications for the Office of the President.
- Other tasks assigned by the Chief Officer.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience (minimum 5-8 years for Executive Officer) in large organizations.
- Substantial professional experience in general administration and/or development banking in international organizations, the private sector or government service.
- Strong communication skills, intellectual leadership and effective interpersonal, diplomatic and partnership skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills, high degree of resourcefulness, and ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and attention to details.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Master’s degree or above from a reputable university, preferably in business administration, economics, or public administration.
