The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the development and implementation of AIIB’s human resource strategies, policies, and programs to attract, hire, develop and retain talents. HRD also provides advice on human resources and corporate culture-related matters to ensure that alignment of all relevant policies and actions. It also supports the realization of AIIB’s mission, vision, corporate culture, corporate strategy and business goals, specifically in the areas of strategic staffing, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, succession planning, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and recognition and rewards.
The Senior HR Officer / HR Officer is responsible for managing and executing the full recruitment process for the organization; and growing the depth and quality of the talent pool. The Senior HR Officer/HR Officer will collaborate across multiple departments and specialisms. S/he will support Talent Acquisition (TA) strategic and operational deliverables and will be a member of a diverse and high performing team. The role reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Support and drive the development and execution of recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent for the organization.
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process for various positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer across a diverse client group.
- Promote close collaboration within internal networks to determine hiring needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles. Build and manage a solid pipeline of candidates based on current and future needs of the client departments as specified in their respective staffing plan.
- Lead or participate in employer branding and outreach initiatives to communicate AIIB’s Employee Value Proposition and reputation as an employer of choice.
- Operate as a champion of diversity and inclusion within the business.
- Utilize various sourcing methods such as social media, job boards, networking, career events and employee referrals to identify potential candidates.
- Initiate and maintain clear communication with internal and external clients regarding mutual expectations.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and fit with the company culture
- Manage the communication cycle between candidates and the business throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate and manage the offer process including salary negotiations, including the initiation of background checks, and references.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment metrics to report progress to management.
- Design and implement approaches for proactive sourcing and screening of potential candidates, leveraging technology and tools to improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the function. Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant HR experience or equivalent (minimum 8-10 years for Senior HR Officer) in an international organization or multinational corporation.
- Passion for Talent Acquisition and candidate engagement.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proven networking capabilities, influencing, negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Growth mindset, resilient and adaptable to change.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
- Proactive, ability to juggle multiple priorities at the same time, able to work under pressure, ambiguity and meet deadlines.
- Positive and constructive attitude.
- Ability to work as member of a team and build relationships with direct HR team members and business to ensure excellent service.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
- Master’s degree in HR management, or related fields.
