1. Project Background
The IT department of AIIB is looking for an IT business analyst consultant to work as a domain expert in AIIB’s Investment Management business, deep diving into the business processes, digital capabilities, needs and technology gaps, identifying, implementing and supporting appropriate business solutions for Investment Management departments.
2. Objectives of the Assignment
To provide business analysis support to AIIB's investment management business and give adequate technical advice and solution to the business.
3. Scope of Services
• Liaise between IT department and business department and work as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Investment Management domain. • Lead the business requirements gathering and prioritization, business process modelling, impact analysis, feasibility studies, and solution proposing for business departments. Support solution design and full project cycle delivery. • Support project managers to build/enhance systems for Investment Management domain as lead business analyst. • Provide enhancement and operation support for IT systems used by various Investment Management departments, including but not limited to analyze new initiatives and process changes, support production troubleshooting, enhance quality of ongoing IT products and services, utilize IT data for more business insights etc. • Work closely with various IT teams - such as infrastructure, data management, IT security, and risk management - to ensure a full coverage of IT requirements when rolling-out new products and services to business users and maintain a highly secured system through proper configuration and system access monitoring. • Ensure that processes comply with IT governance processes and procedures, and AIIB’s audit and control requirements. • Own business process and requirements documentation, be responsible for retaining and transferring business knowledge internally • Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external.
4. Consultancy Output / Deliverables
? Produce Business Requirements Briefing documents for Investment Management business's IT project request ? Generate Business Process document to reflect existing and potential business process and business solution architecture ? Write Business Requirement document during IT project execution phase ? Own testing documents and facilitate user testing ? Collect and manage the demand list from Investment Management business ? Other tasks assigned by head of IT BA team
5. Implementation Arrangement
The term is for twelve months and the consultant will be asked to provide the services based on five work days per week (except holidays observed by AIIB) at AIIB’s head office in Beijing.
6. Support to the Consultant by the Bank
ITD will make sure to provide all administrative support to the consultant to facilitate the assignment.
7. Knowledge Transfer and Training
The consultant is expected to make sure all knowledge gained and deliverables produced during the assignment be retained and shared among ITD.
Qualification Requirement
• A minimum of 3 years of working experiences as business analyst involved in IT investment management system implementation. • Good understanding of bank’s Investment Management function, such as project procurement, project financial management, project portfolio management, etc. • Good understanding of MDB business, experiences in MDB business is a big advantage. • In-depth knowledge of requirement elicitation and specification, process flows, and developing business use case scenarios. • Strong business and technology acumen. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Understanding of process modelling, agile and waterfall IT system rollout methodologies. • Results oriented with an ability to multitask and prioritize duties. • Attention to details. • Effective communication and engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels • Fluency in oral and written English is a must. • Strong learning capability in a fast-paced environment. • Master’s degree equivalent or higher in computer engineering, business administration, or related fields from a reputable university.
