The MFO seeks an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to lead all aspects of financial management for the MFO element that operates in the Sinai.
The Finance Manager is responsible for the following areas:
· Oversight of MFO-Sinai finances – leadership and insights;
· Budget management and financial planning;
· Financial accounting and reporting;
· Internal control and audit;
· Management of accounting transactions (accounts payable, cashflow); and
· Team leadership and people management.
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
· a professional accounting qualification (such as CIMA, CMA, CPA or ACCA);
· minimum of 5 years’ senior financial leadership experience, preferably from a commercial or not-for-profit environment;
· collaborative and facilitative working style
· strong business and commercial acumen;
· experience in continuous improvement and change implementation;
· fluency in written and spoken English;
· excellent communication skills;
· familiarity with SAP/ERP financial systems;
· a passion for building a high performing team in a diverse working environment; and
· A strong drive to help sustain a positive work culture.
Peace keeping/military experience and/or previous Middle East experience is an advantage.
This is an MFO International Staff position with a starting total annual salary of $126,511. The position is offered as a two-year renewable, accompanied-status (spouse/partners welcome) contract, and comes with a benefits package that includes housing, meals, recreational facilities, and worldwide health insurance.
