II. Organizational Context

MAHARISHI RAM RAJ TRUST was registered as a charitable trust under India Trust Act 1882 on December 2014 by members inspired and experienced with Vedic Education and Rural Development.

MAHARISHI RAM RAJ TRUST is a unique organization in India. It is established to specifically promote, teach, and conduct scientific research on curriculum and courses of study in Maharishi Vedic Science and all 40 aspects of the Ved and Vedic literature developed over the course of 50 years. This trust is of great importance in assimilating and promoting the world-wide interest and support of the Vedic heritage of India.

III. Functions

  • Establish, implement, and oversee administrative and financial policies and procedures in Center offices.
  • Oversee coordination of procurement of all goods and services.
  • Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of Center offices.
  • Identifying, developing & maintaining local/outstation vendor base for obtaining timely procurement of materials at favorable terms to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct research and analysis around the opportunities identified by the Program Lead and those proposed by the management, to establish their relevance.
  • Interact with institutions, executives, and vendors with inputs from the Program Lead
  • Assist in preparing procurement plans, vendor analysis, purchase order follow-up, supply systems, quality checks, and settlements.
  • Coordinate with Program Lead, Team, and prospective partners, on project proposal development from concept stage onwards.
  • Support the Program Team in diversification of the portfolio by identifying new research/project partners.
  • Conduct research to track key sector developments, and interventions of other actors to inform the Program Manager or lead about potential project opportunities for the benefit of the sector.
  • Oversee timely processing of payments, personnel salaries, and submission of expense reports
  • Negotiate, supervise, and coordinate vendor contracts and payments across state offices.
  • Additional duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis
  • Any other duties assigned by the management

IV. Programme Implementation

  • Provide technical input for research studies and implementation plan for the same
  • Conduct specific research studies related to the projects
  • Collate and analyze data collected from various sources
  • Develop written outputs from research initiatives, including reports and summarized data, individual interaction, and ground-level employees
  • Share research findings of the project implementation with the relevant project manager.
  • Coordinate and work with other departments and fellow executives to track progress
  • Coordinate with Program Lead, HR team, and Finance Team to ensure adherence to reporting and payment schedules of planned program activities

IV. Key Performance Indicators

  • Any Graduate. or Post Graduate in Social Work/Development Management will be preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working in education or NGO area
  • Proficient in local language and willingness to travel
  • Experience in the usage of computers/tablets for data collection and basic report preparation
  • Passionate to work with Vedic education and institution.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word (MS Office)
  • To effectively manage the performance of the team and conduct performance appraisal of
  • the team members.
