IT Infrastructure Analyst

The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a professional Infrastructure Analyst with a high level of commitment to coordinate the functions and provide IT systems infrastructure analysis. About the role:

The IT Infrastructure Analyst will be based in Lima, Peru and will report to the Infrastructure and Operations Officer. This position will support and ensure the proper security and information integrity within the Centre, maintain the IT network communication and server infrastructure and support technical projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop CIP’s global network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN).

• Manage network security through firewall security system (Cisco, Fortinet), VPN, web content filtering, traffic shaping and others.

• Manage and maintain local IP telephone system (IP PBX).

• Manage and develop IT infrastructure services including data center and servers, directory services (DHCP/DNS), and Office 365 configuration, among others.

• Identify and correct problems that may arise in the tasked services.

• Support, maintenance and monitoring backups and storage process (workstation and servers), file server infrastructure, network shares.

• Operates and support the maintenance and monitoring of the infrastructure of physical and virtual servers (VMware).

• Operate, develop and manage services following and evolving CIP’s ITIL-based operational procedures including documentation, monitoring, supplier SLA compliance, supplier escalation and engagement. What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer or related discipline. • Between 2-4 years of experience, with at least 1 year demonstrated experience in similar functions. • Cisco CCNA / CCNA Security certification desirable.

• Working experience with Windows Active Directory 2012. Azure AD desirable.

• Working experience with server-level and managed desktop data backup processes. • Working experience or training on IT security frameworks (ISO 27000, CISSP or similar), desirable. • Advanced English writing and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, by identifying goals, setting priorities, and working proactively.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, being able to interact with staff at all levels and to work in a multicultural environment.
