Infrastructure Network Engineer

Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is currently recruiting for the position of a Infrastructure Network Engineer, who will be responsible for researching, designing, deploying, and managing security infrastructure and processes to ensure the security of Islamic Relief’s ICT networks. The role is also required to fulfil server and network security administration across the entire infrastructure. The role is required to provide 3rd line support across the organisation ensuring full usage of the ticketing system. The job holder will manage and proactively monitor email security, anti-virus, and patching solutions. This includes escalating priority updates and coordinating with ICT team to ensure they are implemented.

It is essential that the candidate has an excellent understanding of network security technology (Cisco ASA, Cisco Meraki). S/he must have experience of working within a multi-functional ICT team and with external vendors to resolve security issues. The post holder will be able to effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. In addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the post holder will be able to support. The job holder will have experience with securing wireless networks.
