The Sustainable Development - Energy and Environment (EE) team of UNDP China office is looking for an intern to support work of Livelihood and Resilience Portfolio. The Livelihood and Resilience Portfolio is composed of various projects aimed at promoting realization and localization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including hydrogen economy projects, FCV promotion projects, water management projects, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting formulation of pipelines in renewable energy area, including supporting research into key current issue on the topic, and development of reports and publications to increase UNDP advocacy and visibility on environmental issues.
- Assisting in on-going projects, supporting work of Project Manager and Project Assistant, including coordination, communication, data collection, etc.
- Being responsible for document translation, draft of meeting minutes, and necessary data consolidation.
- Providing other support upon Project Managers’ instructions.
- The intern will also learn about UNDP’s role in supporting partners in China at this area and gain experience within key cooperation programs. The intern will work in close collaboration with members of the Environment and Energy team at UNDP

Required Skills and Experience
Required Skills and Experience
- University Degree or equivalent. Degree in environment and energy, communication, business, or public administration or related field is desirable.
- Fluency in English and Chinese
- Experience in the usage of computers and Microsoft Office packages, knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, and experience in handling of web based management systems
- Ability to hold this position for 6 months is desirable
