Job Description
Founded in 1933, the International Rescue Committee is a prominent international organization working in relief, rehabilitation, protection, post-conflict development, resettlement services and advocacy for those uprooted or affected by violent conflict and oppression. Working in coordination with the humanitarian community, IRC currently addresses the needs of war-affected Syrians from several operational bases in the region. With the current Iraq crisis IRC Iraq will start an integrated health, WASH and protection program. The Database assistant is responsible for the development, performance, integrity and security of the IRC’s ERD programme database. S/he is expected to take a proactive approach to the design, improvement and roll-out of data management processes in the program. RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Working Relationships: Position Reports to:ERD Senior Database Officer. Indirect Reporting:NA Other Internal and/or external contacts: Internal:ERD Coordinator, Cash Manager, Livelihoods Manager, and MEAL Manager External: ERD Field staff, Database team with partner organizations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The position is based in Erbil, Iraq; the will be required to travel to project locations in Iraq.
