Monthly Salary JD 849.80 Fils. Plus SOA 60% of Basic Salary. Other benefits include Provident Fund contribution (15% of basic salary paid by the Agency) and medical insurance. Dependency benefits are subject to eligibility.

Is responsible to Chief Field Infrastructure and Camp Improvement Program through Deputy Chief Field Infrastructure and Camp Improvement Program

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In accordance with established policy and procedures:

Implements and supervise all construction projects in all technical and financial aspects. Carries out post contract administration duties, assesses quantities, cost estimates for documentation of interim and final payment certificates, and cost control. Assists the Chief Field Infrastructure and Camp Improvement Program through Deputy Chief Field Infrastructure and Camp Improvement Program in the preparation of site surveys and soil tests, assess existing building conditions, briefs consultants, and discusses plans and designs. Keeps records of budget expenditure on construction projects. Is responsible for project follow up including site handover, schedule, premeasurement, quality control, variation order, carrying out regular site visits and site meetings. Supervises resident site engineers including their training. Prepares monthly progress report. Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

University degree in civil engineering.

••••••• (B)•• Experience

Six years's experience in a related field of work.

Language

Fluency in English and Arabic.

Competencies

•         Ability to produce sound professional judgment;

•         Ability to work under stress and pressure;

•         Excellent communication skills .

•         Demonstrated   problem-solving skills;

•         Strong leadership/supervisory skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

•         Possession of valid driving license.

Equivalency

When the minimum requirements are not fully met, the concerned Director may exceptionally substitute part of the unmet requirements with a combination of relevant academic qualifications, additional professional training and progressive relevant work experience.

NB: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered an acceptable combination.
