The Corporate Services Directorate (CS) delivers client-oriented, integrated services, to optimise the work environment and enable the CEB to deliver its mandate. As a business partner, CS supports a capable workforce that is digital and connected, in an adapted and safe working environment, and with efficient travel and visa services. The Human Resources Division (CS-HR) is part of the Corporate Services Directorate and its mission is to attract, develop and retain the right staff in the right jobs to provide the CEB with a diverse, competent and adaptable workforce. Corporate Services Directorate (CS) also comprises IT, Missions & Protocol Affairs as well as Facilities Management & Security Divisions.

The Corporate Services Directorate is looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist who will assist the Director of Corporate Services and the Head of HR Division, and collaborate with HR colleagues, in ensuring that the Organisation remains fair, attractive and competitive. This requires staying abreast of market trends and to proactively benchmark comparators, including other international organisations. The candidate selected for this key function in support of the Bank’s strategy and mission will be a talented, results-oriented, autonomous Compensation and Benefits expert with strong analytical and numerical skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

Compensation and benefits design and advice
Contribute to the design and implementation of CEB ‘s HR strategy, in particular as it relates to the Organisation’s compensation and benefits policy, practice and automation.
Provide expert advice in a wide range of topics related to compensation and benefits, including allowances, bonuses, pension, separation, health protection; job grading including determination of entry grade and salary; and salary adjustment methodology. Provide analysis and draft related recommendations to decision-making bodies, as required.
Provide technical assistance to Committees, notably the Pension Committee, Invalidity Board, and the Board for children with disabilities.
Provide support to HR colleagues on compensation and benefit queries, as well as on job grading and titling policy, e.g. during the recruitment, onboarding, career development or separation of staff, to ensure that compensation and benefits rules and policies are correctly communicated and implemented.





Academic background:
An advanced university degree in business administration, human resources, (administrative or employment) law or equivalent.

Professional background:
At least 5 years’ experience with all aspects of global compensation and benefits including expertise on international benefit practices. Previous experience from an International Financial Institution or another International Organisation would be a definite advantage.
Familiarity of local and international grading and pay practices worldwide would be a plus, as would broad knowledge of the French Social Security.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong strategic thinking, including an ability to translate concepts and general policy orientation into concrete proposals.
Excellent capacity to develop and maintain an efficient professional network.
Strong IT skills, including advanced use of Excel.

Language skills:
Excellent command of one of the two CEB official languages (English and French), both oral and written, and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.
Knowledge of other CEB member country languages would be an asset.
