The consultant will reinforce the Trade Facilitation Section's capacities on delivering the e-learning courses on trade facilitation.

Duties and Responsibilities

The consultant will work in the framework of TLAL project on "Accelerate Trade Facilitation", financed by Her Majesty Revenue and Customs – UK Customs and TLAP project on "Strengthen national capacities to ensure coordinated implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement in ECOWAS", financed by the World Bank Group based on funding from the European Union

Under the supervision of the Chief of the Trade Facilitation Section, Trade Logistics Branch, Division on Technology and Logistics, the consultant will undertake the following activities:

• Revision and quality check of all the following courses in Portuguese:
o How to draft a roadmap
o How to do Monitoring and Evaluation
o How to do a Ressource mobilization strategy
o How to run an NTFC secretariat
o How to chair an NTFC
• Redrafting of the new parts of the course “How to use the Reform Tracker” in Portuguese
• Customer relationship duties related to UNCTAD Trade Facilitation E-learning platform for courses in Portuguese, French and Spanish (respond to queries from e-learning participants, enroll participants into the courses, etc), using the selected Learning Managing System (LMS) Learnworlds.
• Design of quizzes, further reading, webinar cards
• Assisting in the e-learning webinars organized, preparing web announcements, sending invitations, preparing presentations, following up on students' progress
• Support with reporting activities of the projects gathering data for the different KPI, data visualization
• Create webinars rooms and send invitation using different tools
• Compressing, cutting and upload webinar recordings into the e-learning platform
• Managing students' registrations, grading, and follow-up inside the platform
• Creating strategies to ensure an increase in students' participation within the platform
• Create user reports on using the reporting functionalities
• Prepare and deliver presentations on UNCTAD's methodology in the area of trade facilitation national exchanges
• Facilitate debates between public and private stakeholders during the workshops in order to collect their comments
• Assisting in the e-learning webinars Support UNCTAD Trade Facilitation Section in the creation of material for the Trade Logistics Branch social media accounts and unctad.org/TF side
• Liaise with national stakeholders to gather information
• Draft agenda and prepare presentations
• Prepare and Send surveys to national stakeholders

Qualifications/special skills

Advanced university degree, Master, in trade related issues, design, social science or related studies is required
Specific proven experience using the Learn worlds learning management system is required.
Experience in trade facilitation and customs procedure is desirable

Languages

Fluency oral and written in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese is required
