UNICEF ICT Division seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst who has strong experience in doing automated testing/scripting to participate in key upcoming ICT projects.

Purpose of the Assignment

UNICEF's ICT Division seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst who has strong experience in automated testing/scripting to participate in key upcoming ICT projects.

Assignment Tasks

  • Develop and maintain the automated test cases using Unified Functional Testing (previously known as Quick Test Professional)
  • Execute the automated test scripts for the test cycles for the Application under Test (AUT)
  • Enter defects in HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) where applicable
  • Validate any defects that were identified during the various test cycles
  • Review the manual test cases and the functional requirements
  • Maintain the test data for data migration and training
  • Maintain the test data for manual and automated testing
  • Train and assist the manual testers with running the automated tests as needed
  • Work with the system analysts and the business users to ensure complete test coverage.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

Education

  • First university degree required, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering.

Professional Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree is required, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering
  • Experience with automation testing of Web is required
  • 2+ years of experience with Unified Functional Testing (previously known as Quick Test Professional) version 12.0 or later; not just record and play back
  • 3+ years of experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (v12.00 or later)
  • Experience developing automated components using UFT (previously known as QTP) is required
  • 1+ years of experience with HP Performance Center is a plus
  • Experience with Mobile automation testing on Android and IOS devices (HP Mobile Center or any mobile automation tool)
  • Knowledge of UNIX commands, knowledge of SQL; ability to query and update database tables is desired
  • Experience with version control systems and HP Business Process Testing is a plus
  • Must be able to multitask as multiple testing efforts run in parallel
  • Must have excellent written/verbal skills
  • 4+ years of technology experience
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
