Context
The UN Volunteer will support the Governance Portfolio with Operations and Administrative Support.
Task description
Under the direct supervision of The Governance Programme Manager, the UN Youth Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: • Support staff working in the governance portfolio by contributing to the drafting of concept notes, project documents, Annual Workplans, TORs, taking minutes, communications, updating of the website, and liaising with partners; • Support with the liaising with partners in the above portfolios; • Support the Gender Specialist to ensure that gender is mainstreamed in the governance portfolio; • Support with governance meetings and assist to take notes of discussion and follow up on action items; • Support with analytical work as directed; • Support to document challenges and lessons learnt; • Support in conjunction with the M & E team, tracking of results of the governance portfolio to facilitate Annual reporting; • Provide support to the Communications analyst, use social media and other platforms to publicize governance work; • Any other duties assigned by the Governance Programme Manager
